Who’s Who at B.E. ACADEMY

Aanessa L. McKain, the founder and educator of ALM Education Foundation, B.E. Academy, W.H.I.S.T. Company, and B.E. Consultant Group. She has served children, families, and other educators for approximately twenty years with innovative methods that energize, inspire, and equip them for success. Following Christian principles has and continues to be the premise for Aanessa’s commitment as an educator. Her confidence as an educator has come from strong mentorship, positive experiences in public and private schools from pre-school to secondary education.

Her philosophy is that God has created every human being with what they need for success. When those gifts are properly nurtured and developed, the outcome is inevitably heavenly. Therefore, it is imperative that each child has the opportunity to know and understand who they are in Christ and live each day to the fullest with experiences that promote life-long skills. Implementing a living, individualized, eclectic curriculum will support this philosophy.

As an advocate for true and meaningful learning experiences, Aanessa’s eclectic approach to guide instruction takes place through a variety of ways. Hands-on-experiences, exploration of math and sciences, classical thought, cultivating an atmosphere for higher order thinking are all enveloped with Christian principles. Implementing an eclectic approach to academic experiences meets a variety of learning styles. One of the sources she uses to support this method emerge from "The Well Trained Mind" classical model written by Susan Wise Bauer and Jessie Wise.  Her experiences  with Schools Attunded, Co-Nect, and living by Judeo-Christian principles promotes effective and endless producers for a lifetime.
